Welcome to the legendary River Thverá/Kjarrá in Iceland

The River Thverá/Kjarrá provides some of the best salmon fishing in Iceland, if not the world!  And with coastal netting banned, the only barriers to ascending fish are the natural, rushing waterfalls and your favourite salmon fly.

A stimulating and unique experience

No place on earth compares to Iceland, whether you are warmed by our hospitality or awed by the country’s spectacular scenery and magnificent natural features. And no fishing experience compares with the thrill of casting across a crystal clear pool in the Icelandic River Thverá/Kjarrá and feeling the heavy surge of a bright, wild salmon fresh from the North Atlantic – the undisputed king of freshwater fish, renowned for its strength and fighting ability.
